Vastu Rules You Must Follow While Placing Lord Ganesh In Your Home

 


Ganesh is the God of joy, prosperity, and happiness but all of this gets negated if you fail to get yourself the correct idol or if you end up placing it wrong. Here are some Vastu rules that you must follow while placing lord Ganesh in your home:

Ø  Positioning: According to Vastu Experts, ideally you should place the Ganesh Idol in the West, North, or Northeast directions. The idol should be facing the north direction as it is believed that Lord Shiva resides there and it is considered auspicious. The back of the Ganpati idol should ideally be facing the main entrance or exit of the house. South should be steered clear of as it isn’t very suitable.

Ø  The Number of Idols: You should not have more than one Ganesh idol in the house. Although it is a personal choice, placing two or more idols in the same house cancels the Riddhi Siddhi energy which is not a good thing. Hence you should only keep one Ganesh idol in your house.

Ø  Where to Not Place Your Ganpati Idol: Places like bedroom, laundry room, below the staircase, bathrooms, and garage should be avoided when you are thinking of placing the Ganesh Idol. The Garage is an empty, vacant spot and hence that place is considered inauspicious for placing a Ganesh idol. Likewise, the energy underneath a staircase or in the laundry room does not favor the placing of the Ganesh idol.
